Melanie Bell is a fiction writer based in Houston, Texas.

Melanie writes short fiction, and one day she wants to write a novel. She loves literary, women’s, and historical fiction. In addition to writing, she founded and runs Leaders Who Fiction, an initiative to encourage professionals to continue reading fiction, something easily given up when work gets busy.

She lives with her husband, stepkids, and a sweet tabby named Lenny.
